Tri-Ace isn't working with SE anymore, they are teaming up with Sega now. So chances are they won't bring it to the PS3 although it would be a wise decision to release it on the PS3 since it will certainly pass the 360 sales numbers easily.
Most of the KH series devs are working on Final Fantasy Versus XIII. I doubt we will hear about KH3 anytime soon unless, of course, another development team has been assign to work on it.
Aren't you being too demanding?
About Versus XIII, I think it's highly unlikely that they show anything of significance since SE's focus is on XIII, and there's a possiblity that XIII would make XIII seem outdated. Plus, many of the Versus are working on XIII now.
Increased RROD rate.
"I also have less than fond memories of turning the machine on its side & upside down to get games to work after a few years :)"
Haha, yeah! After a few years you had to do that in order for some games to run. I later replaced the lense with a brand new set for 40 bucks, I think, and got rid of the problem till I got my PS2, which, by the way, works perfectly until now. (I bought it shortly after its launch).
The original PlayStation is the best ent...
No kidding! The bastards lower their heads everytime my sniper's about to blow them a kiss.
Killing intelligent grunts is fun. Gay pink aliens? Not so much.
Comment of the day!
Thumbs (&Bubbles) Up!
Sony always spearheads the technological breakthroughs.
Microsoft, much like Xbox Live, lags behind.
Nintendo never gets there.
Bubbles. ;)
I thought this article was about Nintendo's marketing and stuff. :(
Anyway, guides are always better than the top # Best/Worst crap invading this site.
Good job.
Looks like the gaming press is all about flamebaits4hits these days.
Anyway, I didn't check the website, they don't get my hit and don't generate revenue per ad "impressions".
I think even the games that are widely recognized as "terrible" might actually be good games or at least fun for some people. And the reverse is also true; just look at the Halo franchise.
What are the criteria for a game to be "the best"? Groundbreaking technology, innovative style, influencial, super-fun, scary as hell, and/or challenging?
Final Fantasy 7, for example, revolutionized not only a genre, but many aspects of console gaming in general.
Tekken set a new bar for fighting games.
Crash Bandicoot beat the sh!t out of every platformer out there.
Resident Evil was an entirely new experience in gaming.
...
I'm glad there is someone out there whose favorite games aren't all released last year. While I don't agree with all the games in your list, for example, I would put the original MGS before 3, and the original GT before 4. FF7/8 and Mortal Kombat should be there too.
Oh yeah, and Shenmue was the sh!t!!!
Yu Suzuki could have been another gaming god now, much like Kojima. Damn! Some people have no luck at all.
Ali, mate, your face looks creepy, go back to God and ask for a refund.
Cheers!
Obviously, the MGS quote is taken from the trailer since the dude most likely hasn't played the game.
Also, look at this:
1. “The struggle for humanity is a war without end. And war……war never changes”. (Fallout 3)
5. ” War has changed. It’s no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity..." (Metal Gear Solid 4)
So "War never changes" and "war has changed" are both top quotes?
The best quotes of all...
Exactly my points. Thumbs up.
The diverse online software content is usually negelected too when doing these comparisons.
PS3, from even an objective standpoint, has a far more diverse software content than Xbox 360.
I hope GTA V and Agent won't come out before 2011. There are so many AAAAA games coming out on PlayStation 3 until then that we may not have enought time to play these two games.
Xbots, now it's a good time to right your past wrongs, to redeem yourselves and finally make a sound decision. Sell those boxes before they die and buy a PlayStation 3: because it only does EVERYTHING.
I have them both; the Afrika theme and the LBP one. Very beautiful.
Erik, you're trying to damage my good name and reputation?
I will whoop your ass.
Sincerely,
Mr. Eric Cartman

I'm a big GT fan, but this article is yet another cheap shot at creating misleading titles (for traffic) -- quoting the subject and putting it out of context.
The Slightly Mad guy in no way wants to belittle GT. Not every developer is as cheap as the guys as Turn 10.
Just give it a read yourselves and you be the judge. Don't fall for the headlines, read the actual interview.
